If anything, I think he sends me more touches than I send him, yet his bracelet will sometimes last a whole day longer than mine. For whatever reason, my husband’s battery lasts a lot longer than mine despite the fact that we use the bracelets about the same amount. Instead, I just get the notification in the app saying I might have missed touches.6. I’ve also found that it sometimes glitches, and even though my phone is on me with my app open and good internet connection, the touches don’t go through to the bracelet. We haven’t figured out any obvious reasons why. Sometimes I’ll get my husband’s touch a mere 5 seconds after he sends it, sometimes it take 20+ minutes. The touches do tend to lag, but again, it’s inconsistent. Yet there are other times when I slightly move my wrist a certain way and it turns on. There are times where I tap, and tap, and tap, and then beat this thing against the palm of my hand and it still won’t turn on. You’re supposed to tap the bracelet twice to “wake it up” prior to each use, however it’s very inconsistent. You can get the same effect from sending a text to a person whose phone is on vibrate without spending $100 on bracelets lol.4. With technology as advanced as it is, I guess I was expecting it to mimic, in a way, an actual touching sensation vs a numbing vibration.
When I read the description of these bracelets, it said something to the effect of you would feel your partner’s touch exactly as they touch it. The vibrations feel (and sound) exactly like a phone vibrating against your wrist, and it’s not always that pleasant. And yes, it does drain your phone battery having it open all the time.3. You have to have the app open on your phone at all times for this to work. The phone also has to be within 10ft of the bracelet or it doesn’t work.2. If you or your significant other are in an area with low signal, forget about this working. You have to have a good internet connection on your smartphone for these to work- whether that be WiFi or mobile data. Saying they work anywhere in the world is a myth. He can’t look at his phone while on the road, so this seemed really functional for us so that I could let him know I am thinking of him without it being a distraction, and vice versa.I’ll start with the dislikes/issues first as I feel they are probably what will impact the most.1. It leaves very little time that we’re actually together, so for our 10 year anniversary, I decided to get these.
